George

It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that George had to be put to sleep on the 2nd July 2008. A lovelier dog you couldn't meet with such a great character. Deepest sympathy from the Crystal Cauldron.

That dreaded day has arrived George

For us to say “goodbye”

Now it’s time for your new life

In that playground in the sky

There’ll be friends galore to play with

And lots of food to eat

No more silly diets

Just bones and lots of treats

When we put the kettle on

We’ll remember you liked your tea

And how you found and unwrapped your presents

around the Christmas tree

So run and play quite happily

Now your free of pain

We have to admit that our loss

Is really heavens gain

You were certainly a dog in a million

Who left paw prints on our heart

You were comical and such a character

In fact extremely smart

Yes George we’re going to miss you

You’ve really left your mark

If you find time in between playing

Please give us one more bark.
